- In Canada, anyone who wants to pilot an ultralight helicopter has to obtain a private helicopter pilot's license. There's many authorized formation centers in Canada. Contact us for the coordinates of the closest center to you!
- In what form is the Mosquito XE / XEL sold?
- In order to meet the requirement of the 51% standard on the amateur construction, the mosquito XE/XEL is sold uniquely as an easy-to-build kit.
- Does the machine autorotate when the motor stops?
- Yes, the mosquito XE/XEL does autorotate as every commercial helicopter. This maneuver, learnt in your formation, will allow you to control your landings.
- Is the Mosquito hard to pilot?
- No, but a formation is necessary to ensure your security. A US$2,000 rebate is given to you in order to help paying your formation fees.
- What is required to put the kit together?
- Standard shop tools are required to cut and form some of the simple frame and control parts and for bolt and rivet assembly. A small amount of welding is required on the exhaust system.
- Is construction assistance provided?
- A comprehensive assembly manual is provided along with a full set of part and assembly drawings as well as exploded view drawings. Builder assistance can be provided by phone or email. Contact us for the different options.
